Mya wishes everyone a happy and healthy 2009!
The holidays have kept us busy, and so has Mya! She becomes more and more vocal each day, and her favorite word at the moment sounds like Joey Lawrence's "Whoah!" from Gimme a Break. She's also reaching out to grab some of her favorite toys, including a new toy butterfly that Daddy bought her for Christmas. We've been having so much fun with her.
We successfully took our first trip away from home with her...a 2 night road trip up to the Russian River Valley. It was so relieving to know that Mya can sleep elsewhere. It was a very different trip from our usual wine country retreats, but we still made it to a few wineries each day and came home with a trunk full of wine. Even Major had a good time (note to local dog lovers...Russian River and Dry Creek Valley wineries are very, very dog-friendly)!
