3 months!

Can't believe little Mya is 3 months old already! We've had a really fun week...
--Grandma and Papa John came to visit for the second time. They couldn't believe how different Mya was from when they were here at 5 weeks! They were also kind enough to babysit a few times...Steve and I got out on Saturday night and let them put her to bed. It was the first time neither of us was there for bedtime, but she behaved perfectly!
--It's been a struggle to get Mya down to sleep the past few nights, but once she is out, she is out! We've reached a consistent 7.5 to 8 hours at night now! Now, if only I could be disciplined enough to go to sleep when she does, I could be seriously well-rested...

--We had a milestone moment on Sunday afternoon when Mya reached out and grabbed Pupsqueak for the first time (see blurry picture below). It was a very deliberate movement and we all cheered! She hasn't repeated it since, but we know she will any day now.
--We had our first educational field trip on Tuesday. We met Colleen and Anna at the California Academy of Sciences. A fun museum! Mya slept through most of it, but was mesmerized by a jellyfish display and some bright colored fish. Unfortunately, a bout of the fussies made us leave early before we could finish watching the penguins get fed.
--The bumblebee on her playmat is currently her favorite, and she loves to hit it and make it jingle. Check it out!
