We are back!

Sorry for the prolonged absence! We were busier than we thought while on the road, so didn't get to update like I hoped. All in all, Mya's first travels went very well! She mostly behaved herself on the plane rides (just a few bouts of fussiness here and there). It helped that we maneuvered ourselves into a whole row by ourselves on all 3 of our flights...I highly recommend this to anyone flying with a baby! We were able to bring the car seat on board and put her down in it for naps.


We had tons of fun in Houston. Saw Grandma and Papa John, Aunt Maria (with Bebe in belly) and Uncle Jake, Great-Aunt Linda, "Pappaw" Stan, and lots of friends and family! We think the highlight for Mya was going swimming for the first time...she seemed to enjoy it!


Next up, New York. Mya lived it up "Gossip Girl" style at the Palace hotel. She took her first taxi ride (to Brooklyn to visit Meagan and Zachary), met Mack, and experienced her first extreme cold weather!


Last stop, Philadelphia. A few nights with Bubby and Grandpa, and a few nights with Nanny and Pop-Pop. We also partied at Aunt Jacqui's baby shower and saw our first snow! We also tried out her newest toy, the jumper...she didn't quite get the "jumping" part, but boy did she love the swinging!
