R.I.P. Jack O'Lantern

In memoriam

Well, only three short days into his existence, Jack developed a serious case of mold. Dr. Steve urgently tended to him, following advice from consulting Dr. Pop-Pop. All toxic mold was removed from his inside, a Tilex Mold & Mildew Remover treatment was applied, and subsequently he was left to air out. Late in the evening Dr. Steve lit a candle inside, thinking it would assist in drying it out/curing it. Before long, pools of liquid began to gather in the bottom that had to be sopped out.

Alas, poor Jack did not make it through the night. He was found lifeless and caved in on Thursday morning. A simple funeral and burial was held, attended early in the morning by Dr. Steve and Major.

Jack O'Lantern is survived by several dozen toasted pumpkin seed offspring.
