Mya's 2nd Birthday Party

We planned Mya's birthday party to be just like her first one...good friends and snacks at a fun playground. Unfortunately, Mother Nature didn't feel like cooperating! We woke up to dark, ominous skies that morning. The forecast called for late morning rain, but we decided to take our chances and party on at the park!

Ten minutes into the party, the skies opened up. The bagels were soggy but the coffee was warm. The "M" candle broke, but Mya enjoyed blowing out her cake anyway. The playground equipment was wet, but the kids didn't seem to mind. And after the rain came a rainbow...cake!
