Eastbound and Down (the shore), Part 2

We spent the second half of our trip with Bubby and G-Pa. After a pit-stop at their Philadelphia house we went down the shore to enjoy a real vacation! Mya loved the pool, watching/feeding the birds from the balcony, and playing with Zachary outside. Mommy loved the warm weather, the sun and sleeping late a couple of times. Ben predictably loved everything...he's such an easy baby.







Right before we left we took another road trip to Princeton to meet Amy and Jack William. Sadly, the extreme heat sort of ruined our time at the playground. Most of our bonding took place over chips, salsa and guacamole at a Mexican restaurant.


Ben turned 3 months old on our trip and Mr. Personality emerged! He started getting quite vocal and social. He had lots of smiles and coos for everyone. I think the salty air was good for him, because he slept like a champ while we were there!

We were so sad to leave everyone (including summer) when we left. The upgraded seats on the flight home only somewhat compensated for saying goodbye...
