The coldest winter I ever spent...
Ben and I have been doing alot of walking this week. Tuesday we walked with Carla and Cole at Crystal Springs Reservoir. Wednesday we walked to the De Young Museum in the park. Today we decided to head to Crissy Field for a scenic walk along the bay. It was damn cold. Note the Golden Gate Bridge, socked in with fog. Note the lack of Friday-in-the-summer crowds on the normally packed beach. Note the blanket covering my baby so he doesn't freeze to death. What you can't see is me, in long sleeves, long pants and my down puffer vest. Ah, SF in the summer.
In milestone news, Ben turned 10 weeks old today. We've had a week of predictable sleep, but still not enough of it for my liking. He seems to be taking to his pacifier again, after a couple of weeks rejecting it, which sometimes helps him fall asleep easier. He seems to be much more aware of the world around him, following sounds to see where they are coming from and really studying people's faces. He's really trying to get his fingers and hands in his mouth, and the smacking sounds he makes while trying are hilarious! He's more and more active when lying on the floor, and he's even started to "roll" around a bit (body at a definite angle, but still a ways off from a full rollover).
Steve has been away on a business trip all week and seriously might not recognize his big little man when he gets back!
