Mya visited us in the hospital to meet her new baby brother. After spending a whole day with Ben, we were slightly unprepared for the giant toddler who waltzed into our hospital room! It's amazing how much she appeared to have grown in the 36 hours we were apart from her!
Mya was instantly curious about the baby and couldn't take her eyes off of him. She kept pointing and saying "Baby!" She was a bit shy though, and didn't get too close to him. The cutest part of the visit was when she offered Ben her blanket for a few minutes of sharing (see below).
The rest of the hospital was just as interesting to Mya, and she spent most of the time climbing up and down off the cot, in and out of chairs, and walking the halls with Daddy.
She has gradually warmed up to Ben over the week we've been home. She's still very hesitant and cautious with him (which I'm thankful for), but is always very interested in where he is and what he's doing. She constantly offers him blankets and hats and has asked to hug him once so far (too cute)! We're hoping to keep the peace as long as possible!
